How to check for bed bugs?As a rule bed bugs will find you whenever they want a blood feed. It is very difficult for you to find them as they hideaway in the smallest of places. Although a fully feed bed bug is about 4cm long and is visible to the human eye they re shy creatures and they only appear at feeding time. So set your alarm clock for around dawn, this is their favourite time to feed and is your best chance of seeing them.
An unfed bed bug is very flat and will stay conceal until a blood feed is required. Bedbugs can last for up to 18 months without a blood feed
Prevention is better than cure, it is best to take precautions and don't get infested, using Blitz bed bug spray as a preventative is a wise thing to do.
Many hotels in the UK use Blitz as a preventative and to keep their business free from the risk of infestation.
